If you haven’t been to this splash pad, what are you waiting for?? This location opened up about four years ago and is always a huge hit every summer. It’s big, it’s got loads of variety in water features, and it even has a “gentler” section for a smaller, or more timid, kids.

Sackville Kinsmen Playground
The Sackville Kinsmen playground is directly adjacent to one of the most popular splash pads in the city. With the refreshed look and new design, it blends in nicely to the fun atmosphere and makes it a wonderful destination playground for residents all around the HRM.
Pinehill and George Street Playground in Lower Sackville
This wasn’t the playground we’d planned to go but it ended up being a fun little surprise adventure for us and this playground, while having stood the test of time and clearly well-loved, was still in great shape with lots of fun elements for the kids to enjoy.
Millwood Common Playground Review
This playground is tucked in Millwood subdivision in Middle Sackville at 155 Millwood Drive, almost next door to Millwood High, and just down the road from the Preschool Indoor Playground (and, hot tip…er I mean, cool tip, the Vineyard ice cream shop in the summer, yummmmm).
Sackville Inclusive Play Park
The Sackville Inclusive Playground is located on Sackville Drive, right next to the library. This pretty much make it an ideal location. You get to combine outdoor play with books, all in one outing.
Exploring the Bedford-Sackville Connector
On one side of this trail runs a highway, so close you can see drivers slurping their morning coffee and rocking out to their car tunes. On the other side is the Canadian Forces Rifle Range with a steady stream of bullets firing from it. But, wait! Stay with me….
Cycling Through Sackville Lakes
I’ve just spent two days travelling with my husband and children, sitting in a car for hours on end, which is a great motivator for me to go play in the woods. I need some time to recharge so I’ve decided to bike the 15-kilometre round trip trail system within the 700-acre Sackville Lakes Provincial Park (better known as First and Second Lake Trails).
